I’m a project management professional with more than 25 years of experience in customer service, event and volunteer program management as well as in public relations with a concentration in social media strategy. An experienced problem-solver, I’m skilled in managing all aspects of event logistics, from budget planning, tracking, analysis and identifying volunteer needs to the production of collateral marketing materials, on-site event management and post-event reporting. I also understand how to build brand awareness that emphasizes the mission of an organization.

Throughout my career, I have held ongoing leadership roles, often training and managing employees on sales and customer service initiatives, and managing interns and volunteers. I’m also an expert at multi-tasking, regularly managing several concurrent projects and events simultaneously.

Over the years, I’ve also fostered strong relationships with media and community partners throughout the region. I’ve developed and implemented marketing and public relations plans while editing, designing, and producing print and email newsletters, web content, and web 2.0 platforms. I have been the project manager on website revisions and have researched and implemented e-commerce strategies. An important part of my online marketing has been to introduce social media as a way to recruit fundraising support, and build interest in special events and volunteer recruitment and awareness.
