  • Oversee all aspects of the Guest Relations and Spiritual Care departments, ensuring the highest level of customer service for the patient experience.
  • Oversee all aspects of volunteer recruiting, screening, interviewing, orienting, and training, for the 96-bed in-patient rehabilitation hospital and outpatient centers; manage more than 250 active volunteers annually.
  • Identify staffing support needs and develop volunteer positions to maximize department efficiencies, saving more than $25,000/year; train and lead teams of volunteers on concurrent projects for multiple departments.

throughout the greater Philadelphia region, including Southern New Jersey.

  • Reported to the CEO, and has held increasingly responsible roles as events manager, development manager, assistant director of development. Former chair of workplace safety committee.
  • Oversight of all aspects of events and communications departments, including logistical planning, budgeting, and management of department staff, interns, volunteers and board committees; responsible for raising $1M in organization’s $3.8M annual budget. Secured contracts with vendors for events; tracked and reported expenditures within budget; served as on-site point person. Liaised with community partners for sponsorship and in-kind support and oversight of sponsorship recognition for special events.
  • Launched the first-annual Nourish Awards and silent auction in 2010, produced ChefAID black-tie galas for 325 attendees, A Show of Hands art auction with more than 300 items up for bid, and Shut Up & Dance performances by dancers of Pennsylvania Ballet grossing more than $100K each. Has led the team for 7 years on organization’s largest fundraiser Pie in the Sky, a bake sale that raises more than $250K annually and engages hundreds of volunteers to help sell and distribute 10,000 pies and cakes. Worked with many third-party fundraising partners, including Philadelphia magazine on Design Home and Philly Cooks! Helped coordinate the MANNA annual volunteer appreciation parties and launched MANNAfests young-friends program that raised almost $20K since its inception.
